March 12, 2013
well today was a bit of a hectic morning, had to take the car in to the garage then meet up with Ken, 10 am has come, I did a warm up first on the treadmill 15 minutes, then into the office we go, but not before passing the scales. Current weight fully dressed with shoes on, 196 lbs, body fat is 42.1%. So I need to get to 1 hour of cardio a day and follow the diet given to me, I'll try to keep a food journal so I will know how I am doing, I need to do a bit of a shop. Ken suggested I post my blog on facebook, I will give it some thought.  After our meeting I did 15 minutes on the elliptical and then walked home for 20 minutes.

I feel much better today still have a bit of a cold and went to the gym, did 35 minutes on the treadmill, 3.3 speed and 1 incline, then on to the elliptical machine for 20 minutes. I will be trying to increase the time I do cardio to 1 hour. My diet probably wasn't the best on the weekend, had spaghetti with sauce Friday night, my granddaughters favorite meal and it was just her and I, Saturday morning I had promised to take them out to brekky, so 1 of them ordered pancakes and 1 had an egg and toast, I settled for a western omelet and no toast or home fries.   I went and watched Keyra ( my youngest granddaughter) have a goalie clinic at the arena and then was on my way, I stopped and had a belated Christmas visit with my best friend and enjoyed an amazing salad and a cup of green tea, before heading back to Gatineau. Dinner was a chicken wrap with no dressing on it and a few french fries, I know that's bad. Tomorrow I have my meeting with ken at the gym, I have to say I am a bit fearful to see just how far out of shape I have gotten.
