Well I paid for my membership today, at http://www.facebook.com/aylmerfloridafitness?ref=ts&fref=ts I started with a 3 month one to see how I make out. I have a meeting with the trainer next Tuesday. Today I was able to do 15 minutes on the elliptical machine and 25 minutes on the tread mill, then I decided to try out the Pilates class. What a work out, its not a traditional Pilates class this one worked on abs only. I am sure I will feel it tomorrow, there were some things that I couldn't do, but managed to do a fair bit of the moves, I found my left hip got very sore, so best not to push that to much, its an old injury from when I worked in Health Care. My plan is to go to the gym 5 days a week, so Monday to Friday at 8:30 am is when I will be there. I saw one of the girls that gets trained there and competes, wow I could only hope to have a physique half that good. Maybe hard work and determination will pay off.

I was up early this morning, not feeling the best but really feeling my work out from yesterday, I didn't know I had that many ab muscles. I headed to the gym at 8 am and did 30 minutes on the treadmill at a height of 1 and 3.1 kph, then I headed to the dreaded elliptical machine, determined to better yesterdays effort. I am proud to say that I did it, I made it to 20 minutes today, another milestone reached.
I had thought of doing one of the classes today, but I really wasn't feeling it so I did some light weights.
Then I headed to the grocery store. Its suppose to be a bit warmer this week so I am determined to eat more salads. I bought 4 whole chickens and am cooking 2 up as I type, having the chicken accessible will help me to eat more salads. I also cooked up some quinoa and will use it as a salad for dinner.I just use and light virgin oil and balsamic vinegar for dressing. As I get into my journey I will try to post some recipes I have tried. I will also be post a weekly weigh in, I just have to figure out how to add a graph on here.
